Dear Fellow Villanovans,

We have enjoyed some wonderful events and some very productive meetings this year. It was a pleasure to have the new president of Villanova, Father Donahue, join us at the Detroit Country Club in October. Also in October, we elected new officers and successfully changed some of the club's structure.

Looking forward, the new basketball season is underway and hopefully we will be able to gather and watch some Wildcat victories. Also, the holiday season is upon us and on December 19th we are looking forward to celebrating the season with fellow Villanovans at Greenfield Village.

The Detroit Chapter of the Alumni Association is one of the oldest chapters in the country. It has been nurtured through thick and thin over its long tenure thanks to the help of our fellow Villanovans and the club’s continued success depends on the loyalty and devotion of the local alumni. Any and all input, assistance, and fresh ideas are welcome and necessary.
